Outdoor Learning January 2015 - BODMAS
- We found lots of fun and excitement, despite it being cold, when we carried out a treasure hunt using and applying our skills of BODMAS to solve problems.
We needed to understand BODMAS to work out the answer and then go and find the answer somewhere else in the school environment.
Working with a partner helped to organise our ideas and make sure we got the right answer. We questioned each other and referred back to our understanding of the order of operations
Brackets, Orders, Division, Multiplication, Addition and Subtraction.
The treasure hunt was everywhere. Because we were on the move we didn't feel the cold.
It was such fun!
